What is Complimentary in My Room?

Each room has the following amenities by default: microwave, refrigerator, TV, coffeemaker, DVD player, and a hairdryer. Each King and Queen + Single Room each have mini-bar fridges (1.7 cu. feet), the suites have larger fridges. Each room also has a set of towels for each person in the room, complimentary coffee and supplies, toilet paper, tissues, shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover, and cups. There are no plates or utensils in the room by default, however, they are available from the reception on request.

How Fast is the Internet?

Beginning this year we are happy to announce that we have greatly improved internet speeds, courtesy of the brilliant and hardworking people at Algonquin Fiber. We now can offer high-speed internet that should allow for much greater streaming capabilities and quicker internet browsing.

How do the BBQ Facilities Operate?

We have three charcoal barbeques that are stationed on the far end of the property, facing Spring Lake. Guests are welcome to bring their own equipment (tongs, cutting boards, other food preparation supplies), though if needed we can lend reasonable items for guest use. Please note that guests are asked to bring their own charcoal for barbequing, but we also can sell charcoal if needed. The grills are cleaned regularly so guests only need to think about cooking if using the barbeques.

Do We Need to Rent the Canoes/Kayaks?

The canoes/kayaks/paddleboards are available for guests to use at any time (first-come-first-serve). Equipment need not be signed out when the guest would like to use it, however, a waiver must be signed upon check-in. Equipment is under surveillance to ensure the safety of guests and resort equipment, any instance of theft will result in a permanent ban from Spring Lake Resort and the authorities will be involved.

Adding Additional People to Your Existing Reservation

The rates listed on our booking platforms for our rooms are based on having two people in either the ‘King Room’ or the ‘Queen and Single Room’. The Rates for Suites are based on four people. Additional people can be added to your reservation, up to the maximum occupancy listed below. To add an additional person to your reservation, there is an additional charge of $25 per person (per night). If the guest also would like a rollaway bed, there is an additional charge of $25 per night.

Guests may request that additional individuals be added to their reservation, maximum occupancy (based on fire regulations) is different based on each room type and is listed as follows

King Rooms – Maximum three people (using an extra bed)

Queen and Single Rooms – Maximum Four People (Using an extra bed)

Suites – Maximum Six People

Requesting an Extra Cot in the Room / Playpen in the Room

Guests may request an extra bed in the room for the duration of their stay, subject to availability. Staff can put one extra cot along with extra supplies like towels and toiletries for an additional cost of $25 per night. Please make sure to request the cot in advance to guarantee availability. Please also note that this charge is mutually exclusive from the extra person charge (meaning that to add an additional person in the room, with a cot costs $25+$25=$50 extra per night.) Extra-person charges do not apply to children 12 and younger, however, regardless of age, putting a cot in your room costs $25 per night regardless.

Guests may request a playpen for their baby, subject to availability. There is no additional cost associated with this. Please request a playpen in advance to guarantee availability.

Cancellation Window

It is also important to note that the cancellation window for reservations during the spring/summer season is 7 days in advance. You are free to cancel (i.e. no charge for cancellation) up to 7 days in advance of your stay, we ask you to keep this in mind and make sure that the cancellation is confirmed ahead of the window. If you fail to cancel your reservation within 7 days of your arrival (or you fail to show up for your room) the full charge for your reservation applies.
